What i learned at the Zoo

like i promised, the zoo post...
i went to the Zooo, and saw the animals exctra. so here is what we saw/did, in order of appearance on my camera, now enjoy.
and maybe listen to this song as you learn what i learned at the zoo...

First up we saw these little african birds...

After the monkeys, we talked through this thing... jessie fit... i hit my back...

So lets start with this, lately, when jess and i hang out, we have been cooking dinner together. Its something that is fun to us, and well causes me to eat healthier... kind of, anyways, with that said, i have been wanting to start a food blog, of all the things that we cook, the recipes and such. like an online food journal of what we make, where as she wants to write it down. maybe a cook book in the works? "white-people-trying-to-make-good-food"? anyways, here is another dinner that we made.

this was BBQ chicken, half of it had some spicy kind of sauce on it, and the other had this mango sauce, then we made some squash, grilled corn, and bacon wrapped asparagus.

i have been out for a little bit, this last weekend i went camping up by Ice House with Jessie, and her Cousin Todd and his wife MARgo, and friends. This was Jessie's first time camping, and aside from being scared of bears, the dirt, and the hole in the ground for a bathroom, she liked it. So, thats it for words, here is what you guys want, pictures...

It was some lemon chicken, with a peach sauce, it was really good. We also made some rice, and asparagus. I am eating my veggies.

i was going to try something new, where i start with the last day first, and end with the first day, because when i blog normal, as in first day to last, the last day is first and it doesn't make any sense, and i feel like people miss the normal shit that i do, then post on the internet... so im going to say fuck it here, and make a super post i guess... i hate doing super posts, but i feel like its more effective then normal... so here we go...

i would also like to say that im going to start to upload all my pictures to my flikr account so then that way if you are along with me on these adventures you can see all the pictures/take them for your self. so i feel like this could be a win win situation if this works out...

also, if you would like, i provided a soundtrack to listen to while you read, so, if you would like, listen to this song while you read the rest of the blogggggg....

so we went to a grizzlies vs river cats game on like tuesday, and driving home in down town fresno, jess pointed out this "whole sale" place, that her brother, Kody, found some cool stuff at... so the next day after getting lunch, we went to this place, we had no idea what we were in for...

inside we found some cool stuff....
i really wanted this ceramic doggie... but not for $70.00...

*side note- i would like to make this time known that i would like to start another blog adventure called "the fattest skinny kids you know". i want this to be a blog of foods that i eat, and also, maybe once a week, cook something my self and blog that attempts. so keep posted we will see how this goes...

Took off Monday to go down to jessie's. This is what we did...

Last week i went down to fresno for a demo, and to see jess for a belated birthday trip.

it was a mellow drive down there, and once we got there we headed straight for John's Incredible Pizza.

This week i was lucky enugh to ride 3 days, and 3 diffrent resorts to boot. tuesday at Sierra at Tahoe with Cam and the CP Kids, Wens at Sugar for some soggy pow turns with Jeff and we also ran into Betsty and Jp Lagos, fromEasy Loungin and John Slaughter, from Boreal, then today, thursday, at Homewood with Jason and Aska. So grateful and stoked i can have such a week. Out of those three days of riding i really only busted the camera out once, today so here is a re cap of today...
So to start it off, shout out to those of you who called me/or i called and we didn't meet up today to go ride, im sorry. Schopen said he had fun at North Star, and Haley said she had fun at Sugar Bowl today. Well today i decided to go ditch out and meet up with Jason & Aska at, what i would like to nick name it, Bonerwood, or Homewood. if you haven't riden Homewood, im not going to say much about it, but its one of Tahoe's hidden gems. Also, Jason has a blog called "Aren't You That Guy That Works at Milo?" and Aska has a blog that is called, "Penguin Prograstination: I Should be Doing Home Work."

Had a shitty donut and some coffee for breakfast on my drive up, found a new use for my dashboard as well...

On the first chair lift up... Stoked to ride with Jason and Aska, and i wasn't the only one stoked...

We went over to the back side to take some laps, the trees up top were still good, and you could find some pow patches...

Aska had a Kit Kat in her pocket... She shared with us. Awesome.

Then Aska brought up the ass.

After the T-Bar and a chair lift ride up, we took the cat track hike over to Quails Face.

The hike out. so to get to the trail out, you have to bomb down this little hill and there was a little wu popper at the bottom, i look back in time to see Aska hit it full force, fly in the air, looking down at the ground, and then land face first all while shouting "MEEEEEEHHHHHHH" i wish i had a picture of that...

Just like a high school year book, its a look back of what just happened...
